Covid-19 - Pronto Seed Update - Nov 2020

On Saturday 31st October, the Prime Minister announced a lockdown throughout the UK beginning today, Thursday 5th of November until December 2nd. The lockdown requires people to stay at home and to only leave for specific reasons.

“For education; For work, say if you cannot work from home; For exercise and recreation outdoors, with your household or on your own with one person from another household; For medical reasons, appointments and to escape injury or harm; To shop for food and essentials; And to provide care for vulnerable people, or as a volunteer.“ – Prime Minister’s statement on coronavirus (COVID-19): 31 October 2020

Whilst many businesses will close their doors, the Prime Minister has made it clear that some businesses can continue to stay open whilst following strict social distancing and Covid-19 safety measures.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, Pronto Seed have been continuing to follow the advice and Government guidelines on a daily basis. With the latest announcement, we will be continuing to sell our goods online throughout the lockdown whilst continuing our strict procedures in accordance with government and industry standards and guidelines.

Our core customer service team works from home whilst our manufacturing is done in the UK. Our manufacturing workforce are monitored daily and have strict rules and regulations in place in accordance with Government guidelines. Our deliveries and returns are managed between our customer service team, manufacturing staff, Royal Mail and Amazon.

Whilst we will continue to trade online, there may be delays in delivery and communication due to the recent changes. We will keep our customers informed of any more changes which may affect you as new information comes to light.
